Where Your At
I know I need to get fit but I don’t know where to start. I am reluctant to join a gym as the people there seem to know what they are doing and I might look a fool. The classes there are so big and they make you lock into a contract. People there seem so slim and it looks like a bit of a fashion show.
What Your Issues Tend to Be
Your main issues are that you really don’t know where to start. You may have some medical issues or injuries that you are worried might be made worse by exercise. You want small classes and not to be made a failure. You want to make progress with your strength and flexibility to tone up but not get out of breath. You’ve been told that you lack “core strength” but don’t know what that means, what to do about it and you’re not sure if it is important.
What you Need Help With Right Now
You need help getting started with your exercise regime and not forced to do things that you are uncomfortable with. You want to progress at your pace but be challenged when it is appropriate because your progress is monitored. You want someone to make sure you are doing exercises correctly. You don’t want the experience of exercising to be too serious – you want some fun. I’d like to be part of a community of like minded people.
The option that will suit you best Is Class Membership
This program is designed for people like you. You want access to a Specialist Fitness Instructor, qualified nurse and Clinical Pilates Specialist who truly understands your medical needs. Someone who has been that person (overweight at the time) who stepped nervously into fitness class and remembers how it feels.
Vicky will provide you with a progressive fitness program based around Pilates that you can practice in a weekly class. The classes take a maximum of 16 people but usually about 12 people. You will receive personal attention from Vicky to ensure you are performing each exercise correctly. Your self-confidence will soar as you meet other class members and see how they have progressed and have increased their core strength, flexibility, co-ordination and reduced their pain and stress levels.
