When people started to dissect the body they wanted to make sure that the soul was not in the human body. A couple of hundred years ago Doctors realised that if the spine was damaged everything in the body was effected. They felt the spine was the seed of all life and that the base of the spine was most important and different for the structure of the rest of the spine.
They found the only 3 sided bone in the human body. Because of the Trinity of the father, son and Holy Ghost and they called it the sacred bone. They realised that is was empty of the soul and were able to continue with their dissections.
Today we realise how important it is to have the two hip bones in balance around the sacrum. Most of us actually have an imbalanced pelvis and this can cause sciatica, Sacroiliac joint pain, low back pain, knee pain, foot pain etc…
I know I get imbalanced from time to time but a visit to the osteopath puts me straight again.
As I think you know I work closely with two osteopaths. I only recommend people that I have been treated by and trust although there are other fine therapists out there. Sam McInerney www.osteocrawley.co.uk works in Lancing Monday and Friday and Crawley Tuesday and Thursday. David Such www.davidsuch.com works in Crawley Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Their contact details are on their websites.
